: : I think the above conclusion is a logical fallacy.

: Let's see whose conclusion is a logical fallacy.
: You have written several times that your bible is the word of God.
: But your following statement shows that you were not telling the truth.

: : The Bible has been written over 1600 years by many different
: : human writers, and even in different cultures.

: Wasn't it the word of God? What word of God has to do with changing cultures?

Christians and Muslims have a very different understanding of revelation and what
is "word of God". In my definition that is no problem. But I agree, if you put the
Islamic definition to it, then the Bible doesn't really measure up to what you
demand. The question is if your definition is correct.

What is revelation? should give you some
insight into this topic.

But because of your "perfectness" demand of revelation that is why
the Qur'an can't be word of God. It puts up a standard it doesn't even
fulfill itself. But God's true word is different. It is not something that
just drops from heaven, but it is about God's involvement in human history
and this also is seen in the form of the books.

: : Anyway, you welcome to have a look what I personally found in
: : contradictions in the Qur'an, On the other hand, I don't think
: : these are the strongest reasons to reject the Qur'an. My personal
: : reasons why I don't think the Qur'an is valid as divine revelations
: : I have written up in this place: Why I am not a Muslim.

: There is no condradiction in Qur'an.
: Even God says if there is a contradiction then it is not my word.

This is circular reasoning. You try to prove your assertion with a quote
from the Qur'an, but the Qur'an is under question here.

And just because you say the Qur'an doesn't have any contradictions that
doesn't make them go away. The above links is still good. Read it.

Maybe you can explain to me in particular what you think of
the relative distance of moon and stars.

Nobody has made an attempt to answer this one yet.

Peace to you,

Jochen Katz
